Basics. Light and shadow 1

If you're just starting out with painting, this is the tutorial for you. To create an illusion of 3D space on a flat canvas you must first understand light, shadow, and how it works with form. This 1 part of the series  that explain basic types of light and shadow, terminology and introduces the process of drawing in Photoshop. I think this is most important information that can improve your drawings a lot.

This tutorial will be useful for beginers and it is good reminder for everyone who draw.
